How do I exchange currency at Walutomat?

After registering or logging into Walutomat, you can exchange currency in two ways:

• Exchange in My Wallet
• Exchange by bank transfer (available in the “Exchange currency” tab)

 The Wallet exchange is the easiest way to exchange currency, especially for beginners to the website who have not yet managed to set up a currency account. The Wallet in your Walutomat account acts as an electronic piggy bank that allows you to deposit and withdraw funds at will.

• Deposit your funds at your Walutomat account with the amount to be exchanged.

Remember to make the transfer to the Wallet according to the generated transfer details that Walutomat will display to you.

• Decide whether you want to exchange at the currently best available rate or set your own exchange rate.

The first solution is recommended for all those who want to obtain the currency they need quickly, at the current best rate offered on the website. Just one minute after the confirmation of the transaction, the exchanged funds will be deposited in your currency wallet. Find out more.

An alternative option is to specify your rate (threshold rate) at which the transaction can be executed. Such a conditional order is automatically executed when there is a suitable offer from another user. Keep one thing in mind, if you set conditions that are not very attractive to the other side of the exchange (a low buy rate or a high sell rate), you must be aware that the waiting time for the exchange will be quite long. • Have your currency exchanged.

The exchanged funds will return to your Wallet and can wait there for you for as long as you want. To withdraw them you will need an account in the currency you exchanged. Please note that if you withdraw funds to an account designated for a different currency, this will involve a currency conversion disadvantage to you at the bank’s exchange rate. Exchange by bank transfer is a faster and convenient solution, but only available to those who already have a currency account in the currency they wish to buy. With this option, the currency exchange and withdrawal of funds from your Wallet to your account will happen automatically, but for this to be possible the accounts to be withdrawn must be set up by you as trusted. You will transfer the money by wire transfer directly to your Walutomat account, and once this transfer has been credited and the exchange has taken place, you will receive a transfer to the bank account you have set up. In this option you also have the option to choose your own or the current best exchange rate. Be sure that the transfer includes the appropriate payment title, which Walutomat will generate for you.

Remember – before making your first transfer to Walutomat, make sure that the information you provided when setting up your bank accounts (first name, last name, address) matches the information you provided when registering with Walutomat.
