What is a SEPA transfer?

It is a domestic or cross-border transfer made in EURO, within the Single Euro Payments Area (or SEPA). Money sent by SEPA transfer appears in the recipient’s account on the next business day. SEPA transfer has a low processing fee, which is independent of the amount of the transfer. It is the cheapest way to transfer in EUR. A SEPA transfer can only be made with the SHA cost-sharing option, with a SPOT posting date.
