What is an IBAN number?

IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is a standard for numbering bank accounts. It is used, for example, when making currency transfers (domestic and foreign) between different banks.

The IBAN consists of the country code (PL in the case of Poland) and the 26-digit bank account number, which should be written without spaces (no spaces).
In some banks, if you do not provide your account number in IBAN format when making a foreign currency transfer, you will be charged an additional fee. When entering your account number in Walutomat, you do not need to enter your account in the IBAN standard.
